The three bangs incident in Lower Queen Anne

Somewhere between 9 and 10 this evening, I heard three very loud and heavy bangs. 15 minutes later or so, four cop cars drive down the one way (the right way and not in much of a hurry).

So what happened?

    shots fired, into a dumpster,(echo) witness called the nonchalant cops instead of the real ones, and nobody died.
