Where: U of A. What: Law Faculty. After months of agonizing silence, the admissions committee finally decided to accept me. PS I’m living in the same townhouse you were last summer! PPS Too bad about Erica. Is it because you hog the computer in the after-work hours?
This is very powerful image. I see the couple, who for all the world look content, serene even. But there’s a hesitancy, a pause. There’s something between them, something invisible, transparent, glass. Near ethereal, but present nonetheless. Christo can feel it, and gazes over the void to his beloved, aching to cross the divide. Erica smiles, in denial of the force keeping them apart, but in being denial of the force she is also in denial of Christo. This picture rivals the most brilliant of Edward Hopper’s work. The photographer must be a genius.
This was recent – when we came up for James’ art show.
Is this recent or from that study trip a year or so ago?
